
Arriving at Changi Airport, Dr Kumaran Rasappan was greeted by crowd of around 30 enthusiastic family members, friends and colleagues. Slightly taken aback, he said he was surprised at such fanfare for ‘an ordinary guy’.
The 28-year-old, who reached the 8,848m summit on May 26, joins an elite group of Singaporeans who have made it to the top.
It must have been a private trip. I wonder how much it cost him.
