Like many other temples situated on mountain slopes in Korea, Seokguram Temple is another destination for trekkers and devotees. If not for the time constraint (this was just a brief stopover on a business trip), I would have definitely explored the many mountain trails here. I’m really tempted to go back. Feast your eyes on the spectacular scenery.
Deep inside the temple (following the signboard above) is an exquisite stone Buddha housed within grotto (photography not allowed). It is regarded as one of Korea’s national treasure. Below is a photo courtesy or Wikipedia.
