Medical Mission, Laos February 2023

I’ve always treated my overseas trips as holidays and even though my holidays can’t be considered “relaxing” to many people (they are to me), I want them to take my mind off work. That’s why I’ve never been keen on medical missions. This time it’s different. How different, I can’t really say, but my secondary schoolmate invited me to join her TCM team on this mission to Laos and I decided to go. A bit of impulse, I guess and I have no regrets. Tiring, yes, but very rewarding indeed.
