Sunshine
I do a lot of sunrise walks by the beach. You can also practise a bit of Qigong and absorb some positive energy from the rising sun. Scientific or not, I’m proof that it works.
Water
Drink plenty of water. For me, I prefer tea. I drink many different kinds of tea and my favourite are Chinese teas.
Rest
This is something ignored by many in the name of “diligence”. You rest not because you’re lazy. You don’t have to feel guilty about it unless you’re overdoing it. Many busy and ambitious people get too little rest.
Air
Polluted cities are the norm in Asia now. Get out often. Enjoy the mountain air. Go up mountains that need at least some climbing.
Exercise
Another thing that people are often finding excuses for not doing. Too busy? Then do something about it. Do you really need that fancy car or new apartment? Decrease your workload at the office. Increase your workload in the park, garden, woods.
Good Diet
There’s too much junk food out there. Forget about that spotless kitchen. You’re not going to score any points from your guests. Wow them with great food. Start learning how to cook healthy meals and eat at home. It costs you money. It’s time-consuming, but you’ll gain in terms of health and simple satisfaction.
